WPT Global: Giveaways, Freerolls and Exciting Changes!
Throughout July and August, WPT Global has announced new exciting promotions and significant changes to help players maximise their value on site!

A few months ago, WPT Global decided to deduct leaderboard costs and MTT tickets from players’ gross rake, resulting in less cashback paid from Universal Poker’s WPT Global deal.
However, from August 1st, WPT Global have made the decision to stop these deductions! As a direct result, players will receive more cashback from Universal Poker!

Summer Festival: $8,000,000 GTD

Online Poker Tournaments
The festival kicks off on July 28 with the first Day 1 flights of the $530 WPT500, WPT Global’s $220 Championship, and $22 Mini Championship, along with their popular weekly trio of Slams: the $110 Sunday Slam, $330 Grand Slam, and $11 Mini Slam.
Each day throughout the Summer Festival is filled with NLHE, PLO, and Short Deck tournaments with buy-ins starting at $5.50, including turbos, 6-max, bounties, PKOs, and satellites to larger events.
Festival Freeroll
A total of $75,000 is up for grabs in WPT Global’s Freeroll on 25 August. All players can qualify by participating in at least 30 Summer Festival tournaments or spending a minimum of $500 in tournament entries during the festival.
The more Summer Festival tournaments you play, the bigger your starting stack in the Freeroll, ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 chips. Achieve Gold Level Status by playing at least 100 Festival tournaments or spending a total of $5,000 in buy-ins, and you’ll be entered into a draw for a $12,400 package to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December.
- Bronze: 30-59 total entries or $500-$1,999 in entries: 5,000 starting stack.
- Silver: 60-99 total entries or $2,000-$4,999 in entries: 10,000 starting stack.
- Gold: 100+ total entries or $5,000+ in entries: 15,000 starting stack.
Want additional chips for the WPT Global Freeroll? Participate in WPT Global’s PLO cash games with stakes of at least 0.10/0.20 from 28 July to 18 August, and they’ll add 200 chips for every 100 hands played, up to a maximum of 4,000 extra chips in your starting stack.
The Freeroll winner will receive a $12,400 package to participate in the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas this December. Additional Freeroll prizes include MTT tickets for the upcoming WPT Global Fall Festival.
Champions Freeroll
Winning any Summer Festival tournament earns you a ticket to WPT Global’s $25,000 Champion of Champions Freeroll on 25 August.
Each tournament win grants you a 5,000 chip starting stack in the Freeroll, with an additional 5,000 chips added for each subsequent tournament you win. There’s no limit to the number of 5,000 chip add-ons you can accumulate.
The $25,000 prize pool will be distributed as MTT tickets for the upcoming WPT Global Fall Festival, with dates to be announced.

How To Participate
