How To Participate
1. Your account must be linked to Universal Poker to participate. You can create a new WPT Global account or request to link your existing WPT Global (reviewed on a case-by-case basis) to Universal Poker.
2. Play and rake $1000 or more between March 19 – May 1, 2024.
For every $1000 you generate in rake, you will win 1 ticket into the raffle!
Example: If you rake $3000 between March 19 – May 1, 2024, you will win 3 x raffle tickets – meaning the more you play, the better your chances of winning a $5500 CAD package!

Event Details
The WPT Global Montreal Festival, hosted at Playground, will run from May 9-22, featuring a HUGE $3,500,000 CAD guaranteed prize pool. The headline Main Event, running from May 16-20, features a $3,500 CAD buy-in and boasts a $2,000,000 CAD guaranteed prize pool.
Phil Sabbah, CEO of Playground, expressed his excitement for the event: “We’re buzzing with excitement as WPT Montreal returns to Playground! It’s more than just a tournament; it’s where history is made.”
If you want to watch the final table action of both the WPT Prime Montreal Championship and the WPT Montreal Championship, it will be televised on May 21 and May 22, respectively. There will also be a livestream on the WPT YouTube and Twitch channels.
WPT Global will play a huge part in contributing to the event’s success, as they will be running starting flights for the WPT Global Montreal events. A large selection of satellite options will be available, giving players the chance to win their way to the top.
The last time WPT held an event in Montreal was during the second half of 2019. The festival included three main events: a WPT500, a WPTDeepStacks, and a WPT Main Tour event. The premier event attracted 1,109 participants, generating a prize pool of $3,327,000 CAD. With this in mind, we can’t wait to see what excitement this years event brings!
