No Rake This April at WPT Global: A Game-Changing MTT Offer!

By Chris Andreou

Following WPT Global’s 100% MTT rakeback initiative in March, the up-and-coming poker giant has announced yet another game-changing initiative for April: all Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) will be completely rake-free from April 1st to the 28th!

Yes, that’s right—no rake! This means that every penny of the entry fee will go directly into the tournament’s prize pool, ensuring players receive the very best value for playing on WPT Global.

For example, if you enter a tournament with a $100 buy-in, the entire sum contributes to the prize pool without any deductions—a move away from the traditional practice where a portion of the buy-in would go to the house.

How Rake-Free April Works

Participating in the rake-free April is straightforward: All you need to do is log into your WPT Global account, select your tournaments of choice, and play, with the assurance that your full buy-in will boost the prize pool!

However, it’s important to note that a few exceptions apply. Due to specific circumstances, a small number of tournaments, such as qualifiers for live events or those organised by affiliates, may still include a rake. These exceptions will be clearly indicated in the tournament lobby to maintain transparency.

April Highlight: WPT Global Warm Up Festival

A key event to look out for is the WPT Global Warm Up Festival, running from April 19th to 28th. This festival, too, will adopt the rake-free format, providing an exceptional chance for players to compete in high-stakes games and aim for larger prize pools without the extra cost usually associated with rake.

This initiative is part of WPT Global’s ongoing effort to enhance player value and stand out in a competitive online poker market where other platforms may be increasing their rake.

We have to take our hats off to WPT Global for maximising players’ potential earnings, rather than its own profits – well done!
